Legal
This policy explains what personal information seyekuyinu.com collects, why it is collected, and what is never done with it.
The short version
This is a personal website run by one person. Nothing collected here is sold. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never shared with anyone for marketing, and never sold or rented to any third party under any circumstances.
01
seyekuyinu.com (“the site”) is operated by Seye Kuyinu, an individual, from Jacksonville, Florida, United States. This policy covers the site, its contact and coaching enquiry forms, its AI assistant, and the Odyssey SMS journey updates described in section 4.
Questions about this policy go to seye@seyekuyinu.com.
02
Only what a given feature needs to work:
Contact and enquiry details. Name, email address, and whatever you choose to write, when you submit a form on the site.
Mobile phone number and SMS consent records. If you opt in to Odyssey journey updates, your mobile number, the date and time you opted in, and the message you sent to opt in.
AI assistant conversations. The messages you send to the site's assistant, so it can answer you and so abuse can be reviewed.
Basic analytics. Aggregate page views through Google Analytics, plus IP-derived rate-limiting counters that prevent abuse of the AI endpoints.
No payment details are collected on this site. No special-category data (health, biometric, political, religious) is asked for.
03
Information is used to reply to you, to deliver the specific thing you asked for, to keep the site working, and to prevent abuse. It is not used to build advertising profiles, and it is not sold.
Service providers that process data on the operator's behalf, and only under instruction, are: Vercel (hosting and storage), Resend (transactional email), Upstash (rate limiting), Anthropic (the AI assistant), AgentPhone (SMS delivery), and Google Analytics (aggregate site analytics).
04
The Odyssey journey updates are an opt-in SMS programme for friends and family following a road trip. Consent is collected only from the phone's owner, by that person sending an opt-in text message from their own handset. Consent is never bought, imported from a list, bundled into another agreement, or given by anyone on another person's behalf.
Mobile information sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Reply STOP to any message to be removed immediately, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Full programme terms are in the Terms and Conditions.
05
Enquiries and their replies are kept for as long as the correspondence is useful, and reviewed yearly. SMS opt-in and opt-out records are kept for the life of the programme and for four years afterwards, because a record of consent is what proves the messages were wanted. AI assistant conversations are kept for up to 90 days. Analytics are aggregate and hold no name or number.
06
You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing seye@seyekuyinu.com. Requests are answered within 30 days. Deleting your data does not require you to explain why.
One exception, and it is in your favour: an opt-out record is kept even after deletion, so that a number that asked to stop is never messaged again by mistake.
07
Data is held with the providers named in section 3, over encrypted connections, with access limited to the operator. No system is perfectly secure, and no promise is made here that it is.
The site is not directed at children under 13, and information is not knowingly collected from them.
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. Material changes to the SMS programme are announced in the programme itself before they take effect.
